December is an exciting month. On the one hand, we have so many holidays to celebrate; on the other, it’s the turning point of a whole new year, there are so many things to expect. Especially, in the fashion world, the cruise collections and spring/summer collections will come out from this time on. So, what to expect this spring? I have a few things to share with you guys:
1. Nicolas Ghesquière’s leaving Balenciaga- If there is one time that I feel I don’t have enough Balenciaga bags, this is gotta be that time. Balenciaga bags mean two things to me- leather and colour. Of course, like other Bal lovers, I’m so attached to its edgy style. Even though many have complained the leather at Balenciaga has getting thinner, drier…, we can find one or two gems from each season. Now, I feel I need more. I’m still waiting for a perfect neutral colour bag, a black giant city with classic gold hardware, and some bright coloured bag (preferably purple) . Here are the new releases from the SS13 collection:
Again, there will be many new colours come out this season, including tangerine, violet, coral, blue tropical, curry and dune :).
2. Louis Vuitton SS13 New Pink- It’s been a year for Epi and Alma- we couldn’t forget how stunning the colourful Epi rainbow and the cute Alma BBs were. And , the good news is, Louis Vuitton knows their customers. We’ll see many exotic leather Alma BBs this season (yes, the new campaign says ‘small is beautiful’), also, a new dark pink colour will be introduced into the SS13 collection. All the Vuitton LoVers know how rare the chance is a pink colour shows up at Louis Vuitton! A perfect dark berry-tone pink. Here are some sneak peak pictures:

3. Yves Saint Laurent Without Yves- Many have said ‘nothing will change’, but we certainly will not see ‘Yves’ anymore, not for the ready-to-wear collections, at least. Featuring 70s’ rock style, Saint Laurent Paris took a very cool and glamourous first appearance on spring 2013 runway. Here are some highlights from the show:
and, Merry Christmas to you all:),
